My piebald…

Doesn't look like a trail setup, do you have mineral/supplements for the cam to cover?
Several trails there leading to a spot I’ve been feeding for years now. Don’t have his pic on the feed yet, but he’ll eventually make it to it. This is a drain that ends at our dove field (browntop) and they use it as a travel route. The camera was placed there looking for hogs.

Have only ever seen one true piebald, a doe. Most of her head was white.
Did see these two bucks on same ranch, different years and only a few miles apart, but at least 8 miles from where I saw the piebold doe.

I don't think they would be considered piebold, but both have strange, similar patches of white on throat and the white near nose is more distinct than other deer, + they both have a faint white patch on forehead. These were the only two similarly marked deer seen on that ranch in 22 years of hunting there.

This one still has a couple of years before we decide if we want to take him, if he lives through those seasons. He’s safe on our property, but they do roam once the rut hits. At 5.5 we’ll decide. He may get a no kill order on the property and die from old age eventually. I just like keeping up with them, especially if they have potential to get to that 160” size. We strive to always shoot something “better” than what you’ve killed in the past as far as antlers go or any buck 5.5 or older. I do have one doe missing part of her ear that I’m sorta babysitting, lol. All her girlfriends are fair game though!
