anybody tell me what model of nady wireless mic, transmitter,or what ever, would make the cheapest and/or the best remote for my home made caller?

I just picked up a used nady 151 VR-LT off ebay for $35 shipped. The HT models are the handheld microphone that you don't want. You can pick up new ones off ebay for around $100 shipped. There is a 351 on there right now with buy it now of $114.95. The 351 is smaller than the 151 and has a detachable softwire antenna (Rubber Ducky antenna optional).

Make sure the transmitter/receiver are of the same channel if you buy used equipment. And get a channel you that is good for your area. Nady has a PDF that helps with this on their website. I've only bench tested mine so far, but it works really well. The neighborhood dogs love it, too /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Your Nady's should work at 100 yards. I used the 151 VR-LT to make my preymaster wireless and housed it in a big coffe mug before I got an FX5. Still have everything but the preymaster cards cause I gave the cards to dad when he got the new wireless preymaster.
