ANyone ever get a permit to hunt Suggs Mill pond??? I am gonna apply this year, and wanted to know what kind of ducks are there and any other good info, like which one to apply for and what not. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
Heard that the average harvest there last year was around 1/4 duck a man. Sounds like good odds!!!!! Don't know if I wanna waste the gas to go get disappointed.
I live about 18 miles from Suggs Mill Pond. Last year we had a drought and a pond adjoining Suggs lost some water some way and the water in Suggs was down terribly. This year the water is up and the prospects of good Duck Hunting are great. should be a banner year.
