I had two 1.5x6 mk III's on an AR. Leepers AccuShot is a far better scope than NCstar and Barska. I'm currently doing a review of all the "poor boy" tactical & vermin scope. Leepers is winning thus far. I would say it has won out of all the commonly availible "cheap" scopes, but something else may pop up.

I have one of the 3x9x42 compact scopes and have tried to mount it on varios rifle but just can't get the proper eye relief. Or should I have said NO eye relief.

NcStar?

Junk. Absolute junk. Communist made, Chinese military supporting, bottom of the barrel, probably couldn't find worse optics if you tried, total schit junk....

They work better at getting you un-stuck,than to use shooting! Next time your stuck, take that puppy, and throw it under the right rear wheel! You'll be outa that mud hole in no time! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

For the cost i think they have a higher quality than the bottom line simmons and tasco scopes. I put there cheapest one on my .22 mag and was pretty happy with it. The owners manual does say that it will not hold up to magnum guns. 7mag, 300 mag. It pretty much said anything larger than a 30-06. It will soon go on 270 for a trial period and a few hundred rounds. I should know in 2 weeks if it will hold up on a larger caliber rifle.

For the money they are an ok scope. Just took one off of a 25-06 because it quit holding after 75 rounds.

i don't have the compact i have the 6x24 illuminated and i love mine it has held 0 for at least 750 rounds on my browning abolt 243
