Need a bigger gun safe

I've bought too many guns, now I need a bigger safe. Anybody know of any killer deals on a mid to larger size safe that would hold 25-30 long guns?

I would not worry about a deal so much as I would want to protect my investment IMHO. Add up how much you have invested in those 25-30 guns it might surprise you.

Has anyone used the "Rifle Rods" system thats advertised on TV? Its supposed to increase the gun capacity by 50 percent. I've seen 'em on TV and at gun shows but never talked to anyone thats used it. Also, nearly all safes now use the electronic lock, whats the safety provisions if the battery/lock fails and can you program your own code?

Buy a bigger one than you think you will need because:

1- you will buy more guns.

2-Scoped guns take up more space than shotguns.

I made my space work better by storing some rifles barrel down,an old boy at a gun show clued me in on that and it freed up some valuable space.

A word of free advice (take it for what it's worth): when you buy your new safe, don't sell your old one unless you absolutely have to. You might eventually need it too when you outgrow your new safe. I know I did.

I bought a set of the rods from Joe Bob's and it really does allow you to get more rifles in your safe.

I don't know about the electronic locks but my locksmith told me he would charge me lots of money to open my safe if the electronic lock had a failure and he said it happens often.I had him install a dial combination.

They are having some good sales on Cannon Safes at GunSafesNow.com plus they have free shipping.

Seriously looking at the Cannon Scout Series (S40) 64 Gun Capacity Safe right now.
MSRP: $1,618.75
Sale Price: $1,289.95

May have to save up a little more for this one though, they never hold enough long guns as they say. The dang black rifle disease eats a hole in the wallet along with space in the safe.

Cannon Armory Series (A54) 80 Gun Capacity Safe
MSRP: $2,281.25
Sale Price: $1,819.95

I have a Fort Knox and I was talking with a rep the other day and he said they are now offering electronic with dial backup. I would have got that if it had been an option. That way best of both worlds.
