Sinclairs are not in the class of a Neil Jones...I have Sinclair's also.You need a bushing that fits on the rod, the bushing goes into the back of the rod guide so that the rod is centered in the bore guide...otherwise, the rod is wearing the lands from 5 o'clock to 8 o'clock.
