Here's the deal last year shot 2 large males off this section. I call it semi regularly as in when I get home might hit 3 times in 4 days once every to months or so. Called it Sunday night last night and tonight after dark. There is a coyote that barks endlessly from the first or second sequence for hour or two after. Thought it was a house dog but it Finely howled tonight before going back to barking endlessly again as I write this at the house it's still just barking. Now what?

sounds like you have over called this area. at this point that coyote knows more about you than your wife, girlfriend or mama does. and it is telling you so with the barks.

go find some other places to call.

Yeah this was the best I could come up with as well. Just a good spot that's quick and easy as well as productive. Feel like a deer carcass or few in the thick stuff with snares might be the best answer now. Like an old doe that knows you there and just keeps snorting endlessly

Bingo!

I have had some luck just letting the caller play and sneaking up on the noisy so and so.
Worth a try-has worked for me a few times.

A tattle tale bark is so distinct that it's a good thing to hear early on so you won't forget it.
Maybe a creedmore will help.

heard its good for warts, pimples and ingrown toe nails too. [/quote

Yea a friend of mine bought a Creedmore and his credit score
went up 150 points.

Buy one and wait a month before you go back to that property.

I own a creedmore not even scoped also not fur friendly. Thought about letting the caller play and trying to sneak up on with a 12 gauge where it's barking from is thick however I think it's sitting on an access Rd when it's doing it

Best advice in this thread. You have to remove the smart ones before this property will be productive again. Trapping will work too, but I like to shoot stuff.

If you know where its barking from, maybe you can sneak in, set up, then have a buddy start the same call from the same place as before. Just a thought.

Trapping is a good option, but I personally do not believe this spot is ruined. If you set up in a completely different spot and use completely different vocals, he can be called. My guess is he is seeing you walk in, or smelling you. Or you are obviously doing a lot of the same things when you are calling. If you are good and get in completely undetected, and he believes you are a real coyote, he will check you out. He will be downwind at a distance, so be ready for the shot. Try it in February, he will be more likely unable to resist checking out the stranger in the heart of breeding season. Also, if his mate comes then, he will likely follow. If you find this hard to believe, ask yourself what you think that coyote does the next time he hears a real coyote in his area ? I can't stress enough how he needs to sense zero human presence.
