If you want to reload a .223 without problems, buy new unprimed brass and new factory loads with uncrimped primers...that will solve your problems!


Don't use range pick-up brass, or military brass as both are  likely to have had original crimped in primers.


For the cost of a Dillon swager at $100.00, you can buy a lifetime of .223 brass for reloading. And, use the correct shellholder...
