Need help with value on a very rare Beretta M9

I'm doing some research for a friend. He has a US Historical Foundation Commemorative US Marine Corps Beretta M9. The best I can tell it was made in 1995 to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the M9 being the US Military service weapon. I believe 1985 were made. I have searched the interwebs for value and only found two that have sold in the last 6 years. The USHF does not list it on their site. I have emailed them asking for help. Any tips would be appreciated on finding value. Here are some pics to show it off a little.

Value on "commemorative" guns like that rarely exceed that of a regular, off the shelf gun in like condition....unless you can find that one person who is looking for exactly that.

He is looking for value to sell. It was handed down to him. It's up on gunbroker.com now so i guess the value will come out in the end.

Like lilysdad said above its most likely not worth much more than a standard m9. I know it seems crazy but I see it a lot same goes for special DU edition guns most think they are worth much more when sadly it's not the case. If you find the right person sure you might get more but to most it's still just an M9 although a fancy looking one.

Hmmm...I am going to wager it does not sell for that. As a matter of fact, I estimate the real world selling price to be roughly half of that opening bid. Maybe.
