Ok I have a DPMS panther and I'm wanting to put a drop in trigger in it. 1 I can't decided on what trigger to use and 2 do I buy the small pin or the large pin. Any info will be helpful thanks

There are lots of choices on triggers,
2 stsge a single stage options as well.
your DPMS is a small pin as early colt had some large pin models.

Yes, there are many great triggers out there. I have a Timney drop in trigger, and only have experience with that one, but I sure do love it! It just feels right.

A two stage, as the name implies, has two stages. Typically, there will be a slight take up, then a little more pull for a lighter weight trigger break.

Single stage is one consistent pull through. I have a Timney #3 and Chip McCormick #4 single stage triggers in my two AR's

The Timney is an easy drop in replacement and is a very good trigger. However, my next AR will have a Geisele two stage.

Some do not like the feel of 2stage type triggers. Most any of the good aftermarket, Timney,CMC,ARgold Hogan are nice. The ultimate in 2 stage is Geiselle I have the DMR 2-2.5 1st then 1-1.5 2nd stage. The Timney 3# I have on the carbine is great too.

I have Jewell's in my ARs and I like them that being said I'm going to put a Geiselle in my next one. Just got to try it. The Jewell is $185.00 and I think that's a fair price for a great trigger.

If you get a chance try out the RRA two stage trigger. I have one and really like it. I also have one that was worked over by the guy in Denver, hmm senior moment on his name, but others will know it. It is good, but not in the same league as the two stage.

I modified my trigger to work just like the JP trigger. I love it. Crisp break at about 4 lbs with no creep and very little overtravel.

I Love my Geiselle, absolutely LOVE IT!!! No creep whatsoever. When I shoot in long range competitions with a standard trigger group, I can actually watch the trigger creep pull my crosshairs off target. I get nothing with my Geiselle except a nice clean break, and a lot of fur. Might be pricey, initially, but it's worth it.

Yeah I think I'm goin to go with the single stage. Im trying get rid of all the creep. Prob get a 3 pound since that's all I can seem to find

I agree. My Rock River 2 stage has very little take up then it breaks like glass. I didnt think I would like it because I had never shot anything with a 2 stage trigger but I was wrong. Lots of good triggers out there and the guys on here know there stuff. Good thing about an AR trigger is if you dont like it you can sell it and try another. Take care.
