Need Scope Rings In "FDE"

I have a couple sets of the ADM Recon's in FDE. A bit spendy but a real solid mount. IIRC I ordered them directly form ADM.

Did you go directly thru leupold for your FDE scope?? If you don't mind, what does a custom FDE leupold scope go for??? I found some FDE mounts from MI ... I'm looking at ... I like the options that ADM has.. How did you ultimately decide on the mount you have On the AR.. They have ALOT of options.... I'm building a 6x45 AR and leaning toward the Leupold custom shop for optics.... Would really value your opinion if leupold is the way to go !!!

I did order my scope directly from Leupolds custom shop. IIRC they don't do their own anodizing. When I ordered mine, the anodizing was the hold up. They indicated they only get shipments from the anodizer about 4 times a year....

, I know. When I ordered mine thru the custom shop, there were more options I believe in regards to what scopes you could have customized. I would jump on there and take a look just to make sure they can do what you are looking for. The scope in the picture ran about $1k IIRC. It is a VX3 LR 4.5-14x40, TMR reticle, anodized and M1's installed. I went with the ADM Recon based on previous experience with those mounts. I had to have a cantilevered mount and I like the fact they offered this one in FDE as well. The mount is rock solid, but I am not a fan of the vertical rings. If you have the time to wait, I wouldn't hesitate ordering a Leupy from the custom shop.
