I've had success with a garbage can with a tight fitting lid.Place some bait in the can, sardines or such. Place a board like a 1X6 from the ground to the rim of the can. The skunk will walk up the board and drop into the can. Put the lid on the can and haul the little stinker off someplace whee he will be appreciated.
