Before anyone says anything, I did a search in the forum and cannot find anything specific about actual loads.

I am going to pick up my new FN 5.7 usg pistol next week.

I am looking for any existing loads that some of you are working on or have worked on. and how are you making out with brass situation? buying the round first and then reloading after shooting it?

Please email me offline if would like. Just need a little help. I am new to reloading.

Thanks

I have software that lists that chambering, and it would make pretty short work of sorting out a powder/load for the new pistol.

Unfortunately, I still haven't acquired the necessary 5 years of experience reloading that you required in a previous thread. And certainly not the 20 years you later stated you wished you'd specified.

LOL, /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

are you still bitter that you were the last one picked for kick ball too?

Life is too short, hunt hard, shoot straight, have a GOOD beer.

I dont have any load data for the 5.7 round, but seems like I do have several hundred rounds of once fired brass that I picked up after the local swat team (that used the 5.7 SMG's)had a large training session...got several loaded rounds too they dropped.......I think its still around, I've moved since then and not sure what I did with it...

There is a lot of info @ five seven forum.com I like accurate #5 and #7 for the USG. Of course it all depends on the bullet you choose. I usually stick with the 35 and 40 gr Hornady, but have used 33 speer TNT up to 45 gr Barnes solids. Some guys say they can get pretty outstanding velocities with Ram Shot Zip, I bought a can but havn't used it yet.
