Follow up: you mentioned the ATN illuminator at $130. You can get a very good illuminator for considerably less money. Not sure about a package price being less, however.
Also, 5x base magnification is a lot and field of view is narrow. If you hunt areas where shots are generally under 100 yards, you would be better off with the 3-14x model.
