Nesika Rifles

Was cruising thru my Varmint Hunters magazine and on the inside back page was an ad on Nesika rifles. Looks great. So I called and talked to a rep and the talk was very interesting. Their rifles are guaranteed to shoot subquarter moa or they do not ship out. They run around 3000 and I want one now. Donations accepted. However, if any of you own one or has shot one how did it shoot, feel, and look?
 
Superb rifles, but way overpriced, in my opinion. Buy the action, barrel, stock and trigger of your choice, then have it all put together by one of the best riflesmiths in the world (of your choice) and you'll save about a thousand bucks compared to what Nesika charges for the same thing. Use that extra thousand for a Nightforce scope. Both of the rifles I've had built on Nesika actions that way shoot mighty damn fine.

There are a couple actions that might be a tiny bit better for 1000 yard competition, but for most uses I think Nesika Bay is the best. For benchrest competition, Kelblys are comparable, but no better.

I rebarreled one for a friend in 17 MachIV and it is probably the most accurate rifle I ever worked on.

They are expensive but it is an expense you will not be sorry about. Even though it is a lot of money, it is money well spent, which is what counts in the long run.

Lavoy, if ya want a custom rifle, I'll sell ya one of my Broughton 22BR's at half the cost of the Nesika and I guarantee it will shoot as good if not better.
 
If someone kicks off and leaves me a bundle there might be a Nesika in my future, otherwise no. They use excellent components and turn out some terrific rifles, but they are out of the range of most of us. However, dream on. Best wishes.

I agree with DAA,great action but have it built by someone else.I have a K model 6br that Speedy from SG&Y rifles built for me and it is unreal,my wife who hates guns and never shoots shot this gun one time and shot a .172 5shot group with it and I have shot sub .3 at 200yrds with it many times.I have a friend that had almost the same gun as mine built by Nesika and it wont shoot like mine does and the fit and finish isnt up to par with what I would expect for a 3000$ gun dont get me wrong its nice but I paid a little less and think I got alot more gun for the $,the only thing I dislike about my gun is that now nothing else in my safe if fun to shoot anymore!

Thanks guys for the replies. Just a dream right now until I find my wife's mad money. I know she has some cuz I DO get her mad sometimes.
