Attached my 22br barrel to my Remington 700 action.
Broke the barrel in (160 rounds now) Working on a 75 eldm load for coyotes using VV 135 and a 73 eldm with IMR 4895. Also trying Varget.
Initial testing going well. Back to the range later today.

Looking to do similar with a savage axis action for varminting. But in a slower twist and light bullets. Looking forward to your results posting

Both mine are 14 twists, shoot 50's in one and 40's in the other. Two of the most accurate rifles I own. Or have owned. Brass appears to have an infinite lifespan too. Some of the cases for my Nesika have about 50 loadings on them and still going strong.

I just love that little br case( easy button for accuracy). I have a 6br in a 12 twist that shoots very well. Also have a 10 twist with a match chamber. 269 ready to go on. But dang that 12 is still performing great.
I agree case life has been exceptional.

So far the 22 has shown to be just as accurate, with a few different bullet weights 53 and 60g vmax 73 eldm and 75 eldm. Still testing, I have some Berger 73g on the way along with 60g tmk's

Going to be a busy fall, winter as I'm retiring in October...coyotes are not looking forward to it.😆

So far with the 73 and 75 varget has the edge. Imr 4895 is good as well.

Benchmark, Imr 8208 and vv135 are working with 53 and 60g vmax.
I don't think any of the powders tried so far have preformed bad.

My neck is .252 so I am turning to .249 with a seated bullet using a mic. I hope this helps.
Initial sizing with a Forester 22br fl resizing die.

The Smith that cut the chamber said that it was a .252 neck and my brass with a bullet seated unturned is .251, I figured this would be a good place to start.

0.003" from what most claim is perfect. As it works the brass the least vs say a no turn neck sizing.

I usually go half of that. .0015 total clearance, .00075 per side. That's what all my calling rifles are turned to. To me, .003 is just making it unnecessarily sloppy and working the neck more than needs be. Not that it's working it a "lot", but there's no reason to work it that much. For my Nesika .22BR I run them .001 total, .0005 per side. That chamber is a .246 neck.

DAA I have been playing with my neck.
That group was shot with a .250 in a .252.
I have about 230 rounds down it now...still adjusting.
But I have to admit it is doing well.

It's grouping both the 73g eldm and 73g Bergers....slight edge goes to the later.
