New cz 455 finished

I bought a CZ 455 Varmint 17 hmr and removed the barrel had it threaded and Cerakote put on the barrel. Installed a TIMNEY 2 lb trigger, polished the bolt, installed Talley rings and Leupold VX2 4X12 scope now just need to shoot it. I think it turned out pretty good. [img:center]http://[/img]

Nice......I put a Rifle Basix trigger, the same Talley's, and a fixed 4X Leupold on my 452.
Best 22 rifle I've ever owned.
 
If it shoots as good as it looks, winner winner chicken dinner!!!

CZ sure does make some nice little rifles for a very reasonable price and shooting rimfires suppressed is sooooo much fun. What can are you screwing on it?

I have a Huntertown Arm's Guardian Titanium suppressor.

Thank you Sir I have not been able to shoot it yet the knob doesn't seem to bad but still may have you turn me one yours sure look good. Lol
 
That's reel nice, I know you haven't shot it yet but how is that Timney trigger, I picked up a 455 22lr trainer and really want to replace the trigger.

It's great no creep once so ever got it directly from TIMNEY and they preset it at 2 lbs for me.
 
I like the idea of a 2lb Timney trigger....I've got the Yodave kit and didn't care for the factory trigger so then I added the DIP adjustable sear it's better but it's still not just right.

Nice looking rig, hope it shoots great for you.

My Yodave 455 trigger is creepy. I may have to try this new sear.
 
I got a chance to sight it in tonight looks promising and I love the TIMNEY trigger the wind started to pickup so I will shoot some groups with it another day.

The adjustable sear gets rid of creep and you can have a bump test safe trigger in the 1-2 lb range but you still won't have as smooth a trigger as the Timney likely is...the only plus side is you can adjust a whisker lighter if that interests you and it's a bit cheaper. DIP Sear

If I had seen the Timney option prior to replacing the sear and springs I would have gone with the Timney....the Timney still sounds appealing.
 
I have Timney's on four different rifles, and they all have no
creep and they are very crispy.

Having said that, I was surprised to see the criticisms of the
YoDave trigger. Installed one on my CZ455 and am most pleased
with it.
