I have been using the Foxpro Fire Eye for about 3 weeks now and in the Foxpro tradition it has all the Bells and Whistles for sure.

I have used it in one tournament and I ran it all night with my son shooting with no issues except once I hit the off switch instead of the button that instantly changes it from Red that I personally like for scanning to a bright white for shooting. I quickly pulled the ON trigger and recovered and we got the coyote(and won the tourney)
The light has Four color options at the touch of a button with a small indicator light that tells you which one it's set on.... That is one of the complaints I had is that small light glows all the time and I have heard Foxpro is changing that so it shuts off after a few seconds.
I kept my thumb over it and that kills any back light so not a biggie. One of my favorite features is the light intensity is on a slide so it's easy to change with your thumb while holding the light so completly one handed operation... Well except focusing beam if needed.
This light of course is not designed as a mounted shooting light which I use when hunting alone. I have used the Coyote Light just about since they hit the market for my shooting light and it's the best I have found quality wise and all things considered but pricey.
Playing with both in the yard on a bright moon just shining on the wood fence to my eye on just pure brightness it was very close with a slight edge to the Coyote Light. I am saying that to give you some idea of how bright the Foxpro is in comparison to something folks may have familiarity with.
Now once I got out hunting honestly it was very difficult to see a difference and I have let two other hunters use BOTH lights one during a Competition and the feedback was similar.
Bottom line is the New offering from Foxpro is a feature packed scanning light that is a well made(USA) backed by Foxpro legendary Customer service.
Can't wait to see what's next. Mounted shooting light?? Hint hint.
