May as well get on this forum too.
Hello to all. My name is Pete and I'm from Pa. Hunt those eastern coyotes. Just wanted to say, this looks like a real nice forum so I think I'll pull up a chair for a year or two, or until yo throw me off.
Love learnin about how to get mr. yote so I'll have a lot of questions for you guys.
So far I only ever called in One bobcat and two fox. But it was very neat. You know I didn't shoot the cat, can't that was last year and I didn't get a permit for this past year. Knew you were wondering....
Lookin forward to talkin with you guys,.
Pete

Hooowwdyyyy!

Welcome to Predator Masters. . . we’re always delighted to have a new member join our ranks. I strongly suspect I’ve seen your posts on other forums, if so, my impression of you is a positive one.

Calling in PA is tough - but the fact that you have a bobcat and a pair of foxes under your belt proves that there are critters out there to be called by those predator callers that are willing to devote the time and effort needed to get the job done.

Once again Pete, welcome – glad to have you...

Hey rich and Azwill,
Yes I've communicated with bot of you on Posse and GGVG I think. I know I've read a lot of your posts. Thanks for the welcome. I just wish I could call in my first coyote. We have a decent amount up at my camp in Clearfield Co. I have had them in once howling and barking within 200 yards I'm sure but could not get them to come in. Don't know what I'm doin wrong. Have seen deer kills with scat right on on carcass, have seen plenty of scat, Plenty of tracks when snow on ground but I just can't seem to get one under my belt.

Thanks to all you guys for the welcome. I been a huntin for lots of years, but the coyote is the toughest I've seen. Only been after himm for about 1 1/2 yrs. here in Pa. and let me tell ya, this ain't no picnic.
I had em howling and barkin at me twice. Have a million tracks, fresh scat very fresh one time. saw deer kill and a turkey kill but I have yet to call one of those suckers in. Called a bobcat and two fox so far inall that time and I have a lot of setups. I would say about 50 to 70 setups. Don't knokw what the heck I'm doin wrong. I'll keep at it tho, cause I love it. Pete
