It seems kind of like a dry run or beta test of sorts to see what the public reaction would be to an outright banning of the 2A rule by decree under the guise of a public health emergency.
This is probably how the marxists in our governments will come after the 2A and the American people at some point in the future...under the guise of a manufactured emergency such as in this case in New Mexico.
