Shoot the 17 Fireball with Rem ammo. My Rem CDL with Rem ammo shoots 1/2 inch five shot groups at 100 yards off a bench rest. I like to use the 17 HMR, 17 Fireball and 204 Ruger rifles for shooting prairie dogs.

Should have my 17FB back from Bob Green this week. Shilen barrel put on a 700VS action and stock. Hopefully it is the PD slaying smoke stick I have envisioned.

That should be a great setup for PD's and you know it'll be fun to shoot.
I just got my custom Kimber back in 17 Rem.
 
I want to get the Mcmillan, remington mountain rifle stock in artic camo, and get a PACNOR barrel, and a Jewell trigger and send it to this Bob Green fellow. I'm just curious which barrel do I need, to keep me around seven pounds, I would like to have it fluted. I will have a Ziess conquest 3.5x12-56mm scope on it. I already have the scope, that is why i'm using that one.

I went to the Mcmillan website and they prefer you to call, but I can't right now, out in the middle of the Persian Gulf. I would like to order it all now, that way when I return this summer I can send it to Bob, and have all the work done.
