New Ruger 44 mag pistol

Some of you might have read my post the other day asking about whether or not I should buy this gun so I figured I would give a little update and at the same time I could show it off a little. Turns out it was a Redhawk and not a Blackhawk like I was told before. I was trying to be responsible and not buy another gun yet but then he knocked another $50 off the price so I couldn't resist anymore. Came with 2 speed loaders, some ammo and a Hogue grip. Should go along nicely with my Marlin 44 mag lever action.

I love mine too. Different grips (Pachmeyers) are essential if you're using full house magnum loads. I've taken 2 Mule deer with mine when I lived in Colorado.

Thanks guys. I can't wait to get out and shoot it some this weekend, which reminds me, anyone have a good leather holster they could recommend?

Galco DAO very nice holster I use them for mine, also Simply Rugged Pancake both good holsters
BTW Very nice Redhawk I kinda partial to the Redhawks myself

The Redhawk is a heavy sixgun, another holster system to consider would be the Tanker style. El Paso Saddlery makes an excellent tanker rig for heavy or long barreled handguns.

Just checked them out and they make a lot of nice holsters. Thanks

I have never had or used one like that but it does look nice. I might get that one, thanks
