Looking for a very low light scope. I’m thinking 30mm tube and 56mm adjustable objective. I like about 12 power max and usually shoot most yotes on about 8 or 9 power. Budget is 500.00 max. Looked at some Weaver extremes but see mixed reviews on them. Thanks guys.

30mm tube will do nothing for low light. Go with 3.5-10x50mm Leupold VX3i for ur budget.

I messed with the weaver extremes but honestly they couldnt keep up with my Leupold.
Other than that the older Burris Signature scopes are great. You can get a great one under $500 used easily.

Of course the Zeiss line is excellent also.

For March Bushnell has a 30% rebate promotion, this may allow you to extend your budget. Or save up twice your budget and buy next black Friday/cyber Monday, always great deals. Then you could swing a Meopta meostar or a Zeiss. For shooting at night with natural light only, a german #4 with illuminated center dot is tough to beat.

I spoke with a few of our reps to get some insight and here is what we have for you as suggestions worth considering:

Endurance 30 WA 3-12x56 - LR Dot 8x Illuminated

German Precision Optic Passion 4X 3-12x56 G4

In an Athlon, this one is a hard one, with a max of 12x. I like the look into the Argos BTR 6-24x50

Please feel free to give us a call to discuss what would be best for you.

Take a hard look at the new 2.5x15/50mm Bushnell Extreame Trophy! This is one stellar nite optic, has everything you were
Looking for for half price! Forget the name just look through one! It's right there optically with scopes that cost 3/4 times as much. With the "no questions asked" warrantee and 30% rebate it's " Extreame Value"!!!

I would pick up a weaver grand slam 3-12x50 on sale at Natchez. The Japanese glass and tracking are excellent on the grand slams.

used bushy 4200 2.5-10...I have the 40mm, but as I recall there is also a 50mm. Look on Ebay. Can get one around 200 dollars and they are easily as good as a leupy vx3.
