NEW to reloading

I just reloaded some ammo we shot them everything went good. We full length resized them and the bolt closes on some of them fine and some of the them it was really tight when we closed the bolt. Is that normal or is something wrong?

Turn your die 1/8 turn deeper if possible. Mabey check the lenght of the empty ctg . Are you firing them in different gun? If so, full length resize every time. Probably the first thing though.

Sounds to me like you may have a sizing a problem? Pretty new to reloading myself so that is just my opinion. Do a search on here and I am sure you will find all kinds of info. and solutions for this..

Cody,
Not that it makes all that much difference, but are you reloading all the same brand brass? If not, I'd separate them by manufacturer. Also, did you check and measure the length of your brass so it is all the same? If so and you still get that hard closing bolt, as has already been suggested, try turning in your die 1/8th of a turn and see if that corrects the problem. I don't know if you started with new brass or previously reloaded brass and if you know how many times it had been reloaded. Full Length sizing will "bump" the shoulders which is most likely causing your condition. Good luck and have fun.
