I have tried standing while night hunting. Five things seem to keep me from doing it more often. First, the shooter isn't as steady. Second, there is more movement and the hunter is more visible even at night, third I know it sounds silly but it is colder standing, 4th it takes time getting your tripod legs out to the right height, and 5th a selfie stick isn't as helpful while standing. The positive of standing is it is easier to rotate to extreme angles and you can see over stuff. I am probably in the minority sitting, but just don't like standing on a stand. I set the Night Stalker position just a few inches higher than the standard position and it typically needs zero adjustment from stand to stand. I do stay standing if I have a nice short round bale to use as a rest which removes most of my negatives.
