I put a Jewell in mine last year.  I wish I had the money to put one in every rifle I own.  They are sweet.  Put it in myself,  Not too hard but I had to do a little grinding with my dremel on the synthetic stock to fit it in.  Mine is a 700 Rem. also with the syn. stock.  Like I said the only draw back is its cost.  I think I paid $209.00 for mine last year.
