Rich Higgins and his son Tyler, have a soon to be released video. But this video is a little different from the “blood in the sand” variety. This video is 100% about Calling Coyotes. After watching this video, every coyote hunter will know what their own potential could be. Those who’s average shot always seems to be in excess of 100 yards will learn that by being “patient” they can bring that down to 10 yards!

Ya’ want to know more about “misting”? It’s in there. Ya’ want to know how long you can keep a coyote hanging around your stand? It’s in there. Ya’ want body language, what a threat howl is supposed to sound like, how close can you call ‘em in, what happens when you call in seven at one time? It’s all in there. No lectures, no how-to's, no commercials. But lots of explanation of what's happening and why. Nothing's force-fed, you learn from observing.

Why you call them in is not as important as How you call them in. That’s what this video is about. He calls it “Up Close and Personal, Vol. 1”. And he does get them close. In fact, you’ll probably have to wipe the nose prints off the TV screen when the video’s over. Should be shipping in a week to ten days. I give it /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-003.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-003.gif

(edit): Hey Crapshoot! A couple of sessions with this video might help you with your SOSS (shoot on sight syndrome). /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Up Close and Personal is done by one of the most coyote saavy guy's I've ever got to meet! Rich knows coyotes. I got to spend a couple days with him before the PM hunt. Rich showed us his video and i was amazed at the content, it was awesome! I respect Rich for his love of just observing these coyotes. He is absolutely fascinated by there behavior, and constantly learning from them by observing rather than killing them. Which in turn helps us out from what we get to observe and learn in his video.

Anyone that wants to learn about coyote behavior that will help in the hunting situation should try this video. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-003.gif

Don't get the idea that Rich doesn't kill them. He just isn't obsessive about it. Rich and Tyler have won more than a few club hunts. It's the knowlege gained from not shooting them and just observing their behavior that puts fur on the tailgate. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif
