New Walnut Stock for HK 770

Here is a new stock that I made for an individual in CA. HK sporting rifles have European styled stocks. This individual is small in stature and the HK stock didn't fit him that well. He wanted a traditional styled stock with higher comb, shorter length of pull. So, I started with a Remington 700 stock, making adjustment before putting it in my stock duplicator.

Here is the master that I made from a Remington 700 stock. Action set set back for short trigger pull. Rem 700 stock did not have enough wood thickness in the action area, so two layers of 1/16" balsa wood was added to each side and flared in the stock couture lines. Inside was milled out and filled with bedding, receiver action pushed into bedding.
