New York Trappers

Hi, I was just wondering if there were any trappers in the lower New York area? Orange and surrounding couties to be more specific. I am looking to learn and don't know anybody that is even interested in trapping.

I used to trap many years ago back in the midwest.

Havent bothered with it since moving to NY a decade ago and just pred hunt.

I believe there are some guys around here that trap in NY.

 
I live in Herkimer and trap in Herkimer and Otsego counties. If you want to go out with me one morning I'd be more than happy to show you the ropes. Im new at this myself, but have been educated by a father that trapped for a living back during the last big boom in the 80s.
