I just got the new nighteyes headlamp kit in the mail and I have got to say this thing is really well thought out and man is it well built. just walked in the house from playing with it for a about an hour and its by far the best scanning light i have had my hands on. Thank you guys for really knocking the ball out of the park with this one

Reaper4 you won`t regret your Purchase! I have Bought and Used many lights over the years and this is by far The Cat`s [beeep] as far as Price, illumination and it`s also Easy to Use. It is not Bulky or Heavy making your Cap slide down either. I hunt with mine set at 50%.

Had mine gone on a year now and works great love the red led . a lot better then goofing with different color filters use cree light for 4 years with different color lens on it manly yellow but the red led a lot better then cree with red filter

Don't want to hijack a thread, but there's no use in creating a new thread on the subject...

I was curious what battery it takes. I have a VRL1 light on my gun and hate to have handfuls of batteries for my different gear. It would be a huge plus if the Night Eyes headlamp took the same 3.7v.

I have a regular flashlight with a 3.7 and the VRL1 that takes a different 3.7. My call has rechargeable AA's and my current headlamp uses AAA's. Needless to say, I have chargers everywhere.

Uncle John,

Yes, the Night Eyes Headlamp uses the 3.7v flat top li-ion 18650 battery. The battery can be charged by plugging the charger directly into the battery holder on the headlamp. The batteries are interchangeable with other types of 3.7v 18650 batteries. If you have any other questions please feel free to call or email me.

Thanks Joe, I'll be ordering a headlamp shortly. My hunting partner moved, so I have to do everything myself and scanning with my shotgun is rough on the arms.

*edit*
Ordered and can't wait.
