I had to send my Nikon Binoculars in for service and was expecting to wait several weeks. Well just under two weeks and they are back and as good as new. I've been very happy with the quality and price of their products and now I'm really pleased with their customer service. I'd recommend them to anyone.
 
Far better then my countless calls to them when I owned a Nikon Tactical 4-16 that I had to send in for repair. Took 9 months for them to finally replace the scope. Sold it as soon as I received it.

Hopefully, the CS has changed. Sounds like you did well with them.

I'm still somewhat Nikon shy...
 
Great to hear about Nikon's outstanding customer service guys.
We don't expect there to be issues with our products but knowing we stand behind what we make should provide a great deal of comfort that you made the right optics choice.
 
I didn't have as good as luck with them. I sent a pair of 10x25 compacts in a several weeks ago. Not expensive but nice to throw in the pack when going lite. The right side stopped focusing so I packed 'em up and send them in for warranty. I sent all the required docs and reciepts. Got a letter back saying that wasn't covered under the warranty and it would cost around $25 with shipping to get them fixed. Huh? How is that not covered with binos? I bit my tounge and gave them my credit card to get 'em back but haven't heard or seen a thing for a couple weeks.

We'll see how it works out but it's something i'll remember next time I'm out shopping for glass.
