Does anyone have the elevation provided by the 223 6oo BDC nikon scope? I am wondering how much elevation each substension provides. I can't find anything other than it is set up for a 223 at 3240 fps. is it also set up to be zeroed at 100 yards?

yeah check out the spot on ballistics because the lines and dots vary depending on what magnification you are using..for example if I take mine off of 6 power then it changes it dramatically what each circle and line means. When you use the program don't forget to select the right scope from the list and the correct round you are using. You can also slide the power to different settings after you "fire" a shot so you will see what they are representing for yardage wise.

Yes the 600 BDC reticle is sighted in for 100yds, this scope works great on my RRA Coyote rifle shooting 55g NBT and 24gr of Varget.

Yote--see if u can get ahold of the Nikon catalogs. It's the best company of all for listing subtensions.

I also have the BDC in the 2.5-8x handgun scope on a Sav. Striker 22-250. With a 225-yd. zero my circles come very close to even yardages for the circles. I'll post a pic of the system i use tomorrow. I not only calc. vertical holds, but windage and rangefinding as well.
