Unit 13 deer - Rifle

Everything else I put in for was a no go - one tag out of 4 is not too bad, I think...

This just gives me more time to hunt Coyotes!

I got the UNsuccessful notice on my archery elk tag.Bummer.

Deer and elk (both second choice muzzleloader) plus javelina (any legal arm - probably take the bow). Access denied on antelope, sheep, and ibex. Now if I can just pull my WY deer and antelope tags I'll have a nice busy fall.

Was a wash on everything but unit 23 coues deer in Jan. Guess I go to Colorado again elk hunting. I have drawn one 3rd choice archer tag in 8 years in NM for elk. It does suck living in some of the best big bull country around and can't draw a tag. But I do usually get out and call for my friends so i am at least out there.

That 2b late hunt is a good one I hunted that 2 years ago I sure like that gas buggy area.

Unit 34 deer archery for my spouse and I. Unit 30 deer for youth rife for my grandson. Also had a friend who just started hunting draw elk in 34 and deer in 30 with rifle. AND spouse drew an oryx tag for Rhodes canyon range in Aug. I be in the field a lot this fall.
