noisey Cabelas turkey lounger

I bought a Cabelas turkey lounger and it is really noisey. The material makes a noise on the tubing. There is no way I can use this for coyotes unless there is something I can do to make it silent. Anyone have a fix for this? I also ordered one for a buddy and his is terrible too.

I really hope someone can tell you what to do. I love my chair but like you I can't make a move in it without getting busted. Hope someone helps us out here.

Personally, I'd contact Cabelas and see what the manufacturer says about it. Might be something that will wear in, in time, but then again maybe not. I'd suggest maybe a littel baby powder in there, but they might not take it back with baby powder all over it.

How about graphite, a dry lubricant? It is dark gray in color. We put it in with our seed when we plant to lube the moving parts inside the planter boxes.

What's the material on those made of ?

Some materials just make a lot of noise and get even worse
when it get's cold outside.

My wife and I have a couple chairs for our hunting blinds from cabelas too (Ameristep High-Back Chair on cabelas site) that "fart" every time you move. It's the fabric pulling tight and/or twisting around the frame bars. I slid the fabric over and put some duct tape under it, and doused it with baby powder that helped quite a bit. Graphite powder probably would have been a better choice, but baby powder seems to work.

My wife has a Cabelas 3D seclusion Gobbler Lounger (low seat with a back) that is fantastic. Comfortable, quiet, and pretty lightweight for as big as it is. It's a velcro strap to keep it closed, which I replaced with double D-ring strap to be quieter, but I REALLY like that seat/chair. I kind of expected it to "fart" too, like our other chairs, but it hasn't started yet. She uses it all the time when we're hanging out in the yard with guests.

Don't move.

. My calling partner uses one most of the time, and when he shifts I can hear it. I don't think it has affected much if anything though. If there is noise with it all the time, it's probably not the chair....

I have three of them, one for my dad, my wife and myself.

They are completely silent when wiggling around a little.

Maybe there is something wrong with the one you have or the fabric needs broken in?

First thing I did with mine was "mud" them, a duck hunters trick for taking the shine from the fabric. Maybe that helped.

I believe he talking about rolling in mud...Just cover everything in mud and once it dries knock and brush of the chunks. It will remove the shiny look on the material and may provide some quietness to the fabric noise rubbing on the frame. I have the same chair but have not used it in the woods yet. But don't recall it being noisy. My friend has had one for a couple of years with no problems. Hopefully it works out. They are the most comfortable chair Ive found by far!!

I am going out now to look at it closer but the fabric is making noise as it turns on the tubing. The slightest little movement it makes noise. If I lean forward or back just a little it makes a noise. I may have to try the mud trick because the chair is useless right now. And I bought two of them.
