Noisy MSR Snowshoes

Just a little FYI for guys who snowshoe into their stands. After about 10 years of using a pair of old, beat-down, Tubbs, Santa brought me a pair of MSR Evos. They're injection molded plastic and absolutely indestructible (my buddy is a backcountry ski guide, all the guides swear by the MSRs for ease of use and toughness) Also, they're super light and very comfy for long hauls. But, they are the loudest snowshoes on the planet! They feature a sort of sawtooth rail down each side of the shoe. It makes for unbeatable traction on everything, including buried stumps branches etc. The drawback is that the rails grind like, well, a saw. The snow for my little test run was super crusty, so any shoe would have been fairly noisy, but dang, the MSRs sound like they have an amplifier built in. I'll keep em around for general use because they really are outstanding in every way... but one. But the old Tubbs will go with when I'm after dogs.
