Nosler Varmageddon HP vs Tipped explosiveness

Has anybody compared the explosiveness difference between the HP and tipped version of the Varmageddon bullets?

If so which one turned stuff loose better?

Was one more explosive on certain sized critters but the other one was better on larger or smaller varmints?

Needing maximum mist on crows and smaller sized birds and such.

.224 bullets FWIW.

I shoot a lot of the 55 grain tipped. If you don't hit bone on a coyote it can be 22 size in and 30 cal. Out. If you hit bone im sewing a 12 inch hole. Hit the breast bone on a crow it could be impressive.

if you want super violent expansion... run the lightest bullet your run will shoot accurately as fast as you can run it.

varmint style bullets react to speed. seems the more they got on impact the more satisfying the splat will be.

if you can get 40's to run accurately on an upper end charge... and do so in a relatively fast twist barrel... you might get something truly stunning to occur

i guess some of the older super thin jacket pills used to come apart if you ran them in too fast of a barrel twist.... never make the target type of thing.

rpm + speed + thin jackets... yehaw!

Mainly looking for info on the 40 grain pills.

My bad there.

Have thought about trying the 53 grain as well.

Just trying a few different flavors of 40s.

9 twist.

Yes, we couldn't push the old SXSP Hornadys real hard from 243s and 22-250s. Seen times where they would explode in flight.

Speer makes 2 52gr HP's, one is a HP Match bullet, the other is a HP
varmint bullet and it shoots just as good as the Match bullet, but it's got a deep BAH [big azz hole] in the tip. You said you wanted crow guts.
