Offroad tires

Ok, I'm just judging from their website...I haven't seen these in person.
I would say that for mainly on-road use/mild off-road use...they look like pretty good tires to me. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif
However, if you are planning a lot of off-road use/lot of mud...I'd personally want something more aggressive. Like the Mudder T/A KM maybe.
I have no idea what price you're looking at. If you're looking at anywhere around $125-$150 per tire...again personally, I'd go with Super Swampers.
For years, those were my "go to" tires, (only ever owned 2wd). But, I used to do a lot of off-road/pasture driving. Never failed me...unless I was stupid enough to try to go where a 2wd shouldn't even dream of going.

{caveat: My current truck only has basic Goodyear Wrangler all-seasons, since I never take it off a road. Only pavement & good dirt roads.} /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smiliesmack.gif
My next truck though, I'm going back to Swampers, just because. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-006.gif

Best tires I've ever used. Been on all my F-150's, F-250's, and 86 Bronco. They may have had a different name back then but basically the same tire. I never even rotated them and got about 60,000 miles out of them. Just be sure you have a good place to get them properly balanced and don't let them try to put too many tire weights on them, especially on the back side of the wheel where you can't see.

I have used the BFG all terrain TA's for ever. (basicly the same tire) They have never let me down. Also had a set of Wrangler MTR's. Excelent off road tire but are more expensive and don't ware as well.

Toyo M-55 Tires are the only tire I'll run on my rig But im on gravel and rocks all day up in the mountains. I see your in Ohio. I wouldnt worry to much about rocks. get a at or a mt from just about anybody. if ya plan on going west to hunt go toyo. or BFG mt

These will be for mostly snow and dirt/clay roads during hunting season not for any real rocky terrain but that red clay gets pretty slimy, so I was looking for a better tread than on the stock Goodyear wranglers that came on it.also looking for somthing that wears pretty good on the highway Thanks for the input.

Clay is enemy #1 for traction tires and it is a trade off for something good on the highway.
I have run many sets of BFG TA's and apreciated the wear factor along with the tough triguard sidewalls and rim protector. They also did fairly well in the mud with sidebar traction. However they rode like a lumber wagon. Something you really don't notice fully until you have gone directly to a better tire the same day. Also that rigid square edge will wear very fast if it gets out of alignment.

I have switched over to the Bridgestone Dueler AT REVO. This tire offers many of the same qualities along with a more open tread and a much much better ride and good gas mileage. It does better than expected in the clay and the rest is a breeze. Good Luck http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=Bridgestone&tireModel=Dueler+A%2FT+Revo or http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=BFGoodrich&tireModel=All-Terrain+T%2FA+KO

My Bridgestone Dueler AT REVO's have been holding up good over the past couple of years. They handle the mud, sand and snow well. I have had them in the mesquite patches without any problems so far :knocksonwood:.

Thanks for all your help and suggestions I ended up going with the BF Goodrich TA KO's + got a very good deal on them. Got a chance to try them out in muzzy season dragged the trailer with two 4-wheelers all through the mud/clay down at camp, they ride pretty good on the road not at all as bad as I've heard, looks like I might get a chance to try them in the snow now. Thanks again for your help

All cleaned up after should have taken some pics before, took about $15 in quarters at the carwash.
