Oh Danny boy!

Danny, sorry your topic ended up taking a course of it's own. Periodically that will happen and it happens on many forums with many topics. I have seen posts end up on 6 different topics at once. It's just something that happens.

Your presence on this forum has been an asset to myself and others who recognize and appreciate your experience. I hope you don't get discouraged and quit posting. I appreciate your obvious experience, your "hehehe", and even your pantyhose (as long as they don't become an outer garment and you start looking like a drag queen and scaring the coyotes away) hehehe.

Your selected topic was interesting too. I haven't been able to check in here as often as I would like but I know where you are coming from on the roadkilled coyotes. It is not real common to find a road killed adult coyote and it is even more difficult to run one over accidentally or intentionally. I ran over one once intentionally but was only able to do so due to the distraction of the car in front of me. Have tried on many occassions and failed.

Your experience on asking that question was obvious to those with experience to recognize the significance of it. Have patience with us partner, we'll gather the strays! LOL!

Another thing to keep in mind guys, don't focus solely on those that are arguing or debating issues. Remember that for the few that are debating, there are many that are quietly reading and observing. Wiley E

Well said Wiley

Danny,
I have seen alot of coyotes along side the roads at night coming home from work (I work 3pm to 2am) but they seem to know their limits. Meaning they never come onto the highway. The shoulder line must be a STOP sign to them.

Wiley E, thank you very much, I was a little fast on the trigger in what I said and I'm sorry for that, I know about the things that can happen out here and it really upsets me to no end when it does, all I want to do is have fun and talk to all the guys that like doing what I do, thanks again, GOOD HUNTING MY FRIEND. P.S. Even old farts like me have feelings hehehe.

Maybe it is because I work at night and mostly out in the desert but I see coyotes and fox along the roadways all the time. More coyote than fox obviously and most of the daed ones are coyotes.

I would say I average seeing three to five coyotes a week in the winter sometimes all at once and about 1 fox a week. This time of year I might see one or two a week. But, one day in the beginning of May I saw three in one morning between 530 and 700 in three different places. I just can not figure out what was different about that morning than most others.

Anyways, I really enjoy my job.

You guys did well on the above topic. I had to turn off my computer or bite my fingers off to stay out of the comments posted in the original little tift. Most of you know my feelings and I have ruffled feathers on the coyote gawds forum before, so I want

ed to say that I think you guys handled it
well. I hope anyone who says anything bad about the ranch industry chokes on a chicken bone. Cause thats all they should be eating.

Wiley that was an excellent post! It is so nice to see such honor amongst people who have only met thru the faces of the screen. We will all at some time have varying opinions on each subject, to discuss the matters in a civil manner and respect each others thoughts is sometimes a vary difficult thing to overcome but it appears here we have done just that. The moderators on this board need to be commended on their wonderful and thoughtful effort's. Again thank you and please Danny keep posting on here. RE

Hey Danny,
I have just been catching up on all these ethics posts today. Kind of makes me glad I have been busy the last couple days.

Don't you dare quit posting! Your post was just a question that others took control of.

Your comments and humor, as with other members-including all of the moderaters here, is why I come to this board to enjoy my down time. I hope that never changes-
Just my 2 cents. Mike Paul
