Oklahoma Hunting license regulation questions

Jeremy, all you need to hunt coyotes is a non-resident hunting license. The annual license is $137 and the 5 day license is $42.50. These licenses expire Dec. 31.

If you plan on taking bobcat then you would also need the fur license which is $51 for non-residents.

Keep in mind that if you are in the field with anything larger than a .22 during any of the big game gun or muzzle loader seasons then you must possess a filled or unfilled tag for that season. You are also required to wear orange during those seasons.

If it were me I would wait til January when all the gun seasons were over. Then I would buy the annual license so that I would have a license for the whole year.

If you need any more info just let me know and I will try to help. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-003.gif

I just looked up the season dates of deer and looks like my plan will still work. I was planning a hunt sometime between Nov. 5- 16th. So thats right between deer seasons. I did some reading and is a legacy permit required?

Jeremy, sorry I forgot to mention the legacy permit. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused1.gif You would be required to purchase that also. ODWC uses the legacy permit money to purchase land for public use.
