Old Weems Calls--What are they worth?

Saw one at a Flea Market on Sunday. This one is from the 60's--didn't really know what they were worth.

Can anyone help me out before I give the guy a call back?

Thanks,
Tim

There are just so many different Weems calls that more info would be needed.

Production started around 1954 so a 60's call is fairly early. The plastic, two part, "All-call" came out in 1960 so if that is the model it could be very collectible, especially if is says "patent pending".

The best way to find out for certain would be to talk to Jay Nistetter at "Rhino Calls". I might be able to look it up in his book, "Predator Calls,The First 50 Years", it's really the holy book of predator calls!

Interesting--may have to look it over closer. It is a wooden call, but I did not catch the model.

He had $20.00 on it.

Some of the early calls had a smaller neck and different labels. If it had a box that is in good shape it could be a good buy. If it is just the call and a newer model, you can buy them anytime for $20
