Been using my Flextone Echo for 4 years....always knew it wasnt the loudest electronic call.....but in tight places, it does just find without a strong wind. but now I see this Flextone 500 and 1000.
Looks like a boom box. My Echo has called in many a coyote....and I like it....but I was out early a few weeks ago and lost the remote.
Day after we had so much rain the place I hunted the day before was flooded......so I am remote-less......anyone know where a guy can get a new remote ? Either that or I am shopping for the FLX 500

Thread here, back in '09 says they don't sell remote seperately, but I'd give them a call anyhow. Several Echos on E-Bay, one listed on straight auction $49.99 + $15 shipping. If no one bids, that wouldn't be too bad.

I had FW 707 here on the forum tie up a carry strap for mine with a drop on it for the remote. Put a plastic buckle on it and one drop on my lanyard, so the remote is tied to the caller or me at all times. Jeff came up with other methods of doing that, but it's certainly worth doing in one fashion or another, to keep track of your remote.

havent tried contacting them, but a good idea, I also saw back in the days after I bought it ,m they didnt sell remotes separate. Maybe they are tied to the frequency of the unit ( like a garage door opener maybe ?)
Anyway I will give it a try . Thanks
