Omega Muzzle loader scope

Any reason why I couldn't use this on a centerfire rifle?

Getting one on a muzzle loader from someone in a 3-9x40 BDC and it is illegal to use anything, but a 1x in UT. I would like to give it to my grandma and put it on her 25-06 hunting rifle. Her scope is about 30 years old and not very clear glass. I think the scope would help her out a lot.

Thanks

You can go onto Nikon's spot on and pull up any scope and put any caliber in and it will give you new drops for it. I just wasn't sure if anything was different with recoil and would affect the scope.

Yea ,I know you can dope it. Was just thinking they are spaced out more for a slower black powder.

Other than that, the scope is the same as any other Nikon BDC. Just branded for front loaders.

Been awhile since I looked through one,do they have heavier ret in them ?

I will have to look at the reticle when I get it. I think the first circle will be over 200 yds on the BDC.

I don't think my grandma will care either way. If she can see through it she will be happy.

That's no biggee. Mount it as far forward as you can and life will be good. You don't have to use all the eye relief a scope has.
