OK let me be more specific, the Classic, Custom Classic, Varminter, Varminter Extreme, Phoenix, Montana Varminter, Varminter Laminate, Jackson Varminter all are single shots according to their website. I looks as though anything in a 17 rem caliber up to a 243AI is a single shot. I was just wondering why they don't offer them in repeaters. thanks!

OK....I'll be more specific.. And you could/should have been more specific to start with...

Folks have answered you based on your incomplete question... Some of the models you mentioned come in repeating action rifles, but not all of them. Single shot versus repeater depends more on which action you are talking about, not which model of rifle you are referencing.

Copied from the English language version of the Cooper website..:

"The Model 57M is a repeating action designed specifically for the rimfire cartridges; 22LR, 17 HMR, and 22 WMR. The 57 is available in the LVT™, Classic, Jackson Squirrel Rifle™, Custom Classic, Western Classic, the bench rest TRP-3™, and the synthetic lightweight Jackson Hunter™configurations."

"The Model 52 is the newest of our line. This is our Precision Hunting Rifle chambered for 25-06, 30-06, 270, 280, 280AI, 35 Whelen, and 338-06. The 52 is a bolt action repeating model. Like all of our centerfires, the M52 is guaranteed to shoot 1/2” 3-shot groups at 100yds using match grade ammunition. The M52 is available in the Classic, Jackson Game Rifle™, Custom Classic, Western Classic, and the Jackson Hunter™ configurations."

M38, M21, M22 are all single shot. Action is a lot more rigid without that big hole cut out for a magazine.

thanks for the response claimbuster, I figured the action was tighter, but not sure. I sure like the way they look. might have to sell a few rifles to get cash to have one!
