I am looking into purchasing one of these rifles and wonder what they are like. I know some of you guys are shooting these so post up and let me know how you like them and what factory loads shoot well in these and what kind of groups you are getting. Thanks in advance..

I do not have the coyote model but i do have a predator persuit. I would assume that the coyote model would be just as accurate as the rest of the Rock River ar's. The rifle i have shoots extremely well with 55gr v-max and benchmark powder, fed Match primers. Lee

I don't own one but everything I have heard about them has been positive. It has all the features one would be seeking in a predator rifle. I have a differnt model RR and it is one of the most accurate ARs I own.

There is a write up in the last issue of Predator Xtreme too I believe.

Good hunting

I recently bought a 16" RRA Coyote Rifle and I love it. It is mounted with a Millett 1x4 red dot and will stay inside an inch with almost everything I have fed it. If I had a bigger scope on it, I am sure that it would shoot as well as my RRA 20" bull barrel. It will keep 55gr Vmax pills inside 1/2" unless I screw up. The only thing I don't like about my 20" AR is it weighs a ton compared to the 16" Coyote Rifle.

The only thing that I'l like to add to what has already been stated, is that the Coyote rifle, with the Smith flash suppressor, with make the rifle louder to shoot as compared to the Predator Pursuit rifle, IMO. I don't care much for muzzle brake or flash suppressors and that is why I'm getting the pursuit rifle. Should be here in another 2-3 weeks.

I ended up buying a coyote because I have a few friends that has one and they shoot very good! One friend of mine is down to about a dime size group with his loads and shot really good with factory loads as well @ 100 yards. I haven't shot mine yet but I just bought some Black Hills ammo and I am going to try it out next week.

I picked mine up about 5 months ago, Great rifle! RRA puts the same accuracy guarantee on the Coyote as the Predator Pursuit and the NM rifles, which is 0.75 MOA. I've been shooting well within that, with the exception of some reloads my friend made. Best 3 shot 100 yd group soo far was 0.443.

I have the 20" too and so far I love it. 3/4" groups, and I'm not a good shooter by any standard. Not to hijack the thread, but I do have a question about the Coyote that RRA never got back to me on. Does anyone know if the FS is pinned on the 20? To be USS-NY legal I need to loose the FS and get a "comp".... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused1.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

I have the 16" Coyote and the Predator Pursuit both. The Coyote has actually shot better for me. Within the first two trips to the range, I had Benchmark and 50 grain V-Max shooting consistently between .3" and .4" at 100 yards. I quit trying to work up a load. The Predator Pursuit stays between .5" and .6". Both of them might do better with a better shooter behind them.

Well I could add to the positives but it looks like you should have enough info here to go ahead and treat yourself to a RRA. You won't be sorry for a second.

I bought the 20" Varminter model a little over 2 years ago. And the rifle is a real dandy. It is extremely accurate-even with factory ammo. I bought a few cases of Black Hills Red Box ammo with the 50 grain V-Max bullets for a real good deal. I was going to shoot it up for the brass---however the ammo shot so well that I hunt with the ammo. Tom.

I bought two of the coyote 20's just about a month ago from a pm member txyote. Love them. They are as good an ar as I have ever owned...and I've owned quite a few. Excellent weapon. You can't go wrong with rra. If you can...talk to Adam at wise wildlife solutions. He is an excellent guy to deal with and ships incredibly fast. Or go to the website www.wisewildlifesolutions.com Just one guys opinion. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-003.gif
