? On used vital-2 IR laser prices

Anyone know the prices on these used vital2 lasers? And has anyone had experience using these with a gen 3 night vision scope while hunting? I found one locally and was thinking about getting it to add with my night vision. Haven't found any recent info anywhere online so far. Seems to be a sturdy piece of gear, although the IR seems to be rather weak. Seems geared to room clearing distances. But the 3 different choices for laser intensity type is interesting. To bad it doesn't range find in the dark also.
 
Asking $750 and I'd mount it on an AR now and use the laser for shooting predators with d740. I'm looking at trading a rifle or scope for it possibly, and maybe a little cash. It has 2 pressure pads. One with a wire and the other just plugs into it. Comes with some other mounting stuff. Looks like it's for the GI type handguards and some barrel attachment. I don't know why a guy would use that stuff though with a pictinny
 
Yea well asking and selling price is the difference. I'm gonna offer $200-$250 cash today and see what he says. Do you like yours, or the dbal is the way to go? I thought about this and the torch would be a nice setup. The vital2 is really slim it seems. Is there a good price where it's considered a deal in your mind?
