Since the snow is too deep for me to hunt or go to the range to sight in and test the OL scope with a centerfire rifle I mounted it to my PCP rifle and did the lens swap test at my 10 yard basement range.
Since this was just a test, I used the pellets that came in second place for the pellet accuracy tests I did with the rifle last year.
I sighted the 35mm lens in first, saved it as Profile 1 and then changed to the 75mm lens while still in profile 1.
The 75mm lens grouped tight, but low and left a couple of inches. .
I swapped lenses twice while in profile 1 and even though the 75mm lens grouped low left, it still grouped low left and the 35mm was dead nuts.
After sighting the 75mm lens in profile 2 an inch to the left, I charged the rifle to 2,000 PSI, loaded the 12 rd magazines and proceeded to shoot six pellets between each lens/profile swap.
I repeated that sequence with four magazines, so 24 shots with each lens and I swapped the lenses seven times during the test.
The lenses locked up tight and had no wiggle.
While it's only ten yards with a PCP rifle I think the scope performed admirably.
So as per oneleaf and user recommendations, you're going to have to save a profile for each lens size if you want to swap them in the field.
The 35mm lens did group tighter, so until I test the 50mm lens the 35mm is the top contender for mus hunting.
As of now I think this scope is the top contender in the best budget 640 res scope.
I'll try to do a QC mount test this week.
