opinion on versa max choke

Picked up a new toy today, a Remington Versa Max Tactical 22" barrel.
After a little research i found "Comp N Choke" makes a turkey choke in .680. I'm thinking this will be the ticket (.735 back bored) giving me .55 constriction.

my second choice is kicks turkey choke in .670

From what i'm seeing there's not many options for the versa max yet.

Looking for thoughts on these or any other chokes as a starting point to pattern this baby!

Use caution. Sometimes with larger shot sizes too much constriction can be a problem causing the edges of the pattern to scatter.

What load? I've done quite a bit of testing with the versa-max tactical, generally it likes tighter chokes so you're choice of turkey choke is a good place to start.

Either T shot or #4 Buck.

Thought I would add I did a little pattern testing with hornady bb and #4 Buck with the versatite wad through the imp. Cyl choke at 25 yds. The patterns where terrible 12 to 13 hits in a 10" circle. So I broke out one of the last rounds of federal heavyweight coyote (good stuff) and of course lights out pattern!
Problem is I have only two left and there discontinued.

Wow, discontinued? I just switched to these this year and i'm using the factory flush improved cylinder choke, my patterns are posted in the shotgun pattern test thread and they are also lights out. Pretty sure I still have three full boxes but the gun holds 8.

For the Hevi-Shot T I use a patternmaster code black turkey which is a .665, previous to that I used a carlsons turkey choke also a .665. Anything wider just opened the pattern up too much.

I also use an Aimpoint red-dot zeroed to the center of my pattern @ 35 yards.

Good luck.

EDIT: Just ordered the last box from my supplier, I guess it is discontinued for 2016.

Seems to be the trend in tungsten based shot products, my understanding is it's the most expensive to produce for a relatively small market.
