I've always used hand calls.
Thinking about using an e-call
Thoughts on this before I commit to a more serious option?

Those are nice compact calls! Just the way I like em. Unfortunately most of the current compact calls leave a lot to be desired. I've not owned this one, but I've used primos ecalls before and the sound quality wasn't all that great. On the other hand they only cost about $50 so it might be worth taking a chance on if you can afford to.

If you want to go inexpensive. Give the Foxpro deadbone a try. Can be had for less than $100.

Woods n water has a couple scorpions in stock. These are discontinued now, but the sound quality is awesome and has a 200 sound capacity. Extremely compact which someone that normally uses hand calls can appreciate.

Thanks possum! This is my third one. Sold one and lost the other in the dark. I've struggled with larger calls since.
