Oregon coast predators and varmints

NOMADIC AIRGUNNER

New member
I lived here along the coast in Oregon for almost a year now and can't find anything meaning coyote & ground squirrel, only see ground squirrels at campgrounds and private property along the highway , can anyone help with a possible location to location some coyote or something other then deer and elk around here.

I think these guys hunt that region. They have a few coyote and bobcat hunting videos from clearcuts and logging roads. Watching their videos might give you some good ideas.

Thank you. I asked some other hunters in the area and they seemed like they were against hunting what I was after for some reason I'm not sure of. I can't wait for bobcat season.

The coastal range has cats and coyotes, quite a bit of public land, used to be you could hunt logging company but in WA they started leasing plots of it and locked most of the gates.

I found that some logging companies have links on their websites to apply for a free permit to hunt their properties for the year. I found 2 properties so far that are close to me along the coast in Oregon. They are more accessible then the public land that are around here. Hope this helps anyone that is searching for a place to hunt on the Oregon coast.
