Oregon Draw results are in!

I didn't get my deer or antelope I put in for...Anyone in here get lucky??? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused1.gif
 
All I got was a Walla Walla buck tag..

My wife also drew a walla walla buck tag..

I didn't draw, doe, antelope, bull elk, or sheep...

Oregons about worthless anymore, IMO...

I"ve got 8 points for elk and still no bull tag...

3 points for a doe tag and still no draw for a doe...

I put in for 2nd season spike, mt emily, as my 2nd choice and didn't draw that even!!! Thats about as screwed as you can get..Up untill last year, you didn't even have to put in for 2nd season spike, mt emily..

Pretty much the same results with everyone in my family, we only drew deer tags, with the exception that everyone else drew 2nd season spike..My aunt was lucky once again (no surprise there) shes already drawn for sheep and goat in Oregon..Anyways, she got her buck tag, orchards which is additional deer tag, basically anterless, but in this unit you can shoot whitetail buck/doe. She also drew her antelope tag...

I dont see how you can get so lucky all the time...

I dont ever draw chit...

If you wanna rifle hunt antelope in Oregon, your gonna be waiting about 10-12 years, thats pathetic...
 
yep, that pretty much sums it up. been waiting 8 years for a decent elk tag as well. If you want an antelope you would be money and time well ahead if you go out of state.
 
I drew nothing, nada, zippo. Back to the general tags for elk, and deer again! Our group did great last year so they had to dump us this year!! That is why coyote hunting is so appealing to me. No closed season(except for the 20 exception /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused1.gif) and no limit. The eating part is getting old on these doggies but what the hey, it is good for the uninvited guests. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
 
My dad drew a walla walla buck tag as well, but didn't draw jack didly for anything else, not even 2nd season spike..

Yah, pretty much the only thing your gonna get in Oregon anymore is a buck tag, whoo hoo!!

Geez, it gets old putting in all the time and wasting money for nothing...I"m just sick of not drawing any freakign tags, while everyone else around me has drawn for big bull and got several doe tags already..

I'm about sick of this state. Its got to many hunters and not enough animals. Especially since baiting and hounds is illegal for bears/cougars. Thats whats really screwing us up around here..

I need to move to Wyoming or Montana, at least they get to hunt antelope and elk about every year.
 
i got my 2nd choice which was tioga 2 (224y) my daughter got tioga 1. my first was melrose plus which is antlerless and lasts 8 months, but i drew that 2 yrs ago. both tiogas are 3pt and better bull. heres last years rack

Well, I got buck, doe and and elk (spike only). Of course, I'm building a house this year, so I have no idea when I actually will have the time to do all that hunting.....go figure. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused1.gif
 
Yep, Paulina-East Fort rock 235Y Bull elk, our 1st choice, entered as a group with 2 non-resident hunters. Will begin our scouting in the next month. Can't wait.
